Guide for Inventio.IT's Cloud Desktop - Windows

The following guide is made on a Windows 10 PC, but the approach is similair across Windows versions.

If you don't already have the Citrix Receiver client installed, you must download and install it.

You can download the recommended version from our website: www.inventio.it/log-on and choose ”Lokal Citrix klient”.

After installing the client, click on "Add Account", enter this email address: citrix@inventio.it, then click on "Add", login with the provided login credentials for Cloud Desktop, for the user that will be using the PC.

In the Citrix Receiver window click on "DESKTOPS" in the top of the window, besides "(You company) Cloud Desktop" click on "Details" and then on "Add to Favorites". You will now be able  to start Cloud Desktop from the tab "FAVORITES".

 

The following is a guide to ease the process of starting Cloud Desktop:

Click on ”Start” start.PNG and search for ”Cloud Desktop”, right click ”(You company) Cloud Desktop” and click ”Pin to taskbar” as shown on this image:338C9050.PNG:

 

Login from you company (Location with firewall/VPN provided by Inventio.IT)

Start ”(You company) Cloud Desktop” from the Citrix Receiver, or by searching for ”(You company) Cloud Desktop” in the Start menu, and login with your login credentials for Cloud Desktop, should you be prompted for these.

Alternatively, click on the icon pinned to your taskbar: ikon.PNG and login with your login credentials for Cloud Desktop, should you be prompted for these.

 

Login from home or location without firewall/VPN provided by Inventio.IT

To login from home, you need a PASSCODE, either in the form of an SMS (Text message), App or physical token. These are to be ordered at Inventio.IT, by contacting the Hosting Department on mailhosting@inventio.it or contact formular.

Start ”(You company) Cloud Desktop” from the Citrix Receiver, or by searching for ”(You company) Cloud Desktop” in the Start menu, and login with your login credentials for Cloud Desktop, in the windows with the title ”Inventio.IT | Enter PASSCODE” that pops up, you must enter the passcode you receiver via SMS, App or physical token.

Alternatively, click on the icon pinned to your taskbar: ikon.PNG and login with your login credentials for Cloud Desktop, in the windows with the title ”Inventio.IT | Enter PASSCODE” that pops up, you must enter the passcode you receiver via SMS, App or physical token.
